In this class, we'll embark on a creative journey together, knitting the stunning Snowy Stained Glass cowl.  This exquisite piece not only serves as a beautiful accessory but also as the ideal canvas for honing your stranded knitting skills.  From deciphering charts to mastering trapping floats, you'll gain confidence and proficiency every step of the way.


Whether you're a beginner eager to explore new techniques or an experienced knitter looking to expand your repertoire, this class offers something for everyone.  Join us as we unravel the mysteries of stranded colorwork and unleash your creativity stitch by stitch!


What We’ll Cover: Stranded colorwork, knitting with your other hand, knitting with one yarn in both hands, reading colorwork charts, trapping floats, and lots of tips and tricks.

 

Class Materials: For the cowl: 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn, 100 g each, in two contrasting colors, US 7 (6mm) 24” circular needles, stitch markers, tapestry needle and scissors.  In addition, you will need about 25g of additional worsted weight yarn for practice.


Prerequisite Techniques: Comfortable with knitting in the round
