You know how to knit, but have you ever wondered why knitting works as it does, or how to improve your knitting skills? In this Technique Along, we’ll explore the answers to these questions as we deep-dive into the “why” of knitting. Your knitting will improve as we explore how knits and purls behave, understanding gauge, how to select cast ons and bind offs for a project, why increases and decreases look as they do, and finishing techniques that will give your project a professional appearance.
This class isn’t about how to do these techniques, but how to do them well.
