Join us in crocheting the classic granny square and a variety of others, learning new stitches along the way.  After investigating different joining techniques, you will have a granny square pillow cover awaiting a pillow insert!

What We’ll Cover: Granny square stitches and construction, a variety of granny squares, getting gauge, 3-D crochet, joining granny squares and making a pillow back

Prerequisite Techniques: Basic crochet stitches (chain, slip stitch, single and double crochet)

Class Materials: DK-weight yarn in 3 different colors.  The same yarn in different colorways works best, but you can use what you have if the yarn is the same weight and of similar fiber content.

A G hook, plus a size up and down in case it’s needed to achieve gauge

At least 7 locking stitch markers

A ruler or measuring tape
